Giant Eagle - Marketing
Client: Giant Eagle
Year: 2025
Category: Retail, Grocery
Content: Social, Marketing, Copy

The Challenge
Giant Eagle needed a fresh, cross-platform campaign to promote seasonal offerings, spotlight weekly savings, and drive loyalty program engagement. The challenge was to appeal to a broad audience while staying true to the brand’s voice and aligning with current marketing trends across print, digital, in-store, and social media.

The Process
I started by analyzing customer behavior and summer shopping trends to inform three core campaign pillars: convenience, value, and community. From there, I crafted witty, upbeat copy designed to resonate across demographics. Each piece was tailored by platform:
-
Email: Benefit-driven subject lines and messaging to boost customer knowledge and loyalty engagement
-
Social Media: Bite-sized, visually engaging content for Facebook and Instagram following current trends
-
In-Store & Overhead: Snappy, friendly messaging to guide decisions and reinforce trust

The Solution
The campaign delivered a cohesive, high-energy brand experience from inbox to checkout. Social posts boosted engagement, email highlighted more focused messaging, and overhead announcements added reminders and consistency to the in-store journey. Giant Eagle became more than a grocery stop, it became the go-to summer destination.

Giant Eagle - Communications
Client: Giant Eagle
Year: Various
Category: Retail, Grocery
Content: Internal & External Communications

The Challenge
Giant Eagle needed clear, engaging internal and guest-facing communications to keep Team Members informed and guests engaged. The challenge was to create materials that were not only informative but also visually appealing, accessible, and consistent with the company’s voice.

The Process
I developed targeted communications by assessing audience needs and the most effective delivery methods for each piece. For internal audiences, I created concise, visually organized handbooks, newsletters, and posters that simplified complex policies. For guest-facing materials, such as survey handouts, I used direct, benefit-focused messaging paired with eye-catching design. Intranet posts ensured digital accessibility for all Team Members, while print collateral supported in-store visibility.

The Solution
The resulting communications suite provided a cohesive, easy-to-navigate experience across print and digital platforms. Team Members received clear guidance and timely updates, while customers were encouraged to engage through well-placed, approachable messaging. This alignment strengthened internal culture and enhanced the customer experience.
